2024 Community Development Course Completed by Badders

During the week of November 13th-15th, ECIRPD’s Michelle Badders participated in the 2024 Community Development Course at Ball State University, a comprehensive 2.5-day event focused on equipping leaders to address the economic and demographic challenges faced by communities today. The course emphasized the importance of creative and forward-thinking approaches to help communities adapt, remain relevant, and thrive. Participants explored seven core sessions led by experts with decades of experience, featuring interactive exercises and meaningful discussions.

This training is designed for elected officials, community leaders, engaged citizens, and anyone passionate about improving their community. It highlights the need for ongoing learning and capacity-building to develop strategies that put people and places first, ensuring sustainable growth and development for communities of all sizes. We are proud to celebrate Michelle’s achievement in completing this course and earning a certificate that enhances her ability to support our mission at ECIRPD. Her dedication reflects our commitment to serving the community in more ways than one.
