ECIRPD Presents Check to Hearts & Hands United

ECI Regional Planning District recently presented a check for $3,000 to Hearts & Hands United— a nonprofit organization committed to providing essential resources to underserved communities. The funds will go towards their initiative to provide backpacks and shoes to school-aged children in the Delaware County community.

Hearts & Hands United recognizes the importance of ensuring that children have the necessary supplies to succeed in their education. The organization’s Backpacks and Shoes program aims to remove financial barriers for families in need by providing children with new backpacks and shoes. The donation from ECI Regional Planning District will help Heart & Hands United reach its goal of equipping as many children as possible with the supplies they need to start the school year off on the right foot.
