BEAD Challenge Workshop: March 11th

If you’re experiencing internet connectivity issues in your area, don’t miss out on this workshop! Join us on March 11th from 5:30-6:30 pm for an informative BEAD Challenge Workshop. Held in Room 203 of the John Jay Center for Learning, we ensure accessibility with an elevator at the Meridian Street (Hwy 27) entrance for those with mobility needs. Engage with us as we dive into strategies for evidence collection, comment submission, navigating BEAD resources, and gaining deeper insights into the program. This event is open to anyone who would like to come.

The Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) Program, established under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, allocates $42 billion nationally to enhance high-speed broadband accessibility. Administered by the National Telecommunications Information Administration (NTIA), BEAD focuses on two key areas: unserved locations lacking any internet connection or with limited access below 25/3 Mbps, and underserved locations with access below 100/20 Mbps.
