ECIRPD in Washington, D.C.

During the week of June 13th, 2022, East Central Indiana Regional Planning District and other Delaware County economic leaders had the opportunity to meet the legislative assistant for Congresswoman Victoria Spartz (R-IN). Spartz serves Indiana’s 5th district and is a member of the U.S. House of Representatives Judiciary and Education labor Committees. This meeting was an opportunity for ECIRPD and other regional economic partners to meet with the legislative team face to face. Executive Director of ECIRPD, Bill Walters stated they left her assistant with the 2021 year-end report and asked where they could be of help to the Congresswoman and her legislative team. The ECIRPD works closely with legislators, community leaders, investors, and economic developers to help grow East Central Indiana and to bring awareness to the needs of local government entities.
