Northstar’s First Digital Literacy Workshop

The first Northstar Digital Literacy workshop, held in collaboration with Dr. Tim Long at Daleville Jr/Sr High School, took place on Wednesday, February 28th. Everyone who joined was able to earn at least one Northstar badge! Stay tuned for more information about the next Northstar workshop to come! 

The Northstar Digital Literacy Program was created to address the requirements of individuals seeking employment who may have limited digital literacy skills necessary for job hunting, securing and maintaining employment, and fulfilling daily obligations. Through Northstar users have the flexibility to access assessments remotely via our website, or they can choose to visit an authorized Northstar site to earn the Northstar Digital Literacy Certificate upon successful completion of the assessments. These certificates serve as valuable credentials for employment, especially as basic computer skills are becoming increasingly essential even for entry-level positions.
