Purdue’s Beginner’s Guide to Grant Writing
Grant writing is an essential tool for driving economic growth, supporting local governments, and empowering small businesses. Purdue Extension is proud to offer its Beginner’s Guide to Grant Writing, a comprehensive two-day, in-person workshop designed to empower participants across Indiana to bring transformative projects to life. Hosted in counties statewide, this program has equipped individuals and organizations with the skills and confidence to secure millions of dollars in grant funding, driving meaningful change in their communities.
This hands-on workshop is designed for both novice and intermediate grant writers, equipping participants with the knowledge and confidence to craft compelling proposals, identify funding opportunities, and ensure their submissions are professionally reviewed.
- Day One: Bring your project idea and dive into creating your proposal outline. By the end of the day, you’ll have a solid framework, along with resources to expand it into a full proposal.
- Day Two: Return with your draft proposal for a deeper dive. You’ll step into the role of a reviewer, gain strategies for finding funding, refine your submission, and receive guidance for a professional review.
These events will be held Thursday, January 16, and Thursday, January 30, 2025, from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm at the Innovation Connector, 1208 W. White River Boulevard, Muncie, IN. The workshop is $225.00, which includes all materials and lunch on both days. Registration is now open! Please register by Thursday, January 9, 2025
