Disaster Recovery Center Coming to Delaware County: Sept. 2nd – Sept. 5th
The Indiana Department of Homeland Security (IDHS), in coordination with FEMA, will open a Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in Delaware County to assist residents and businesses impacted by the recent disaster.
The Disaster Recovery Center will serve as a one-stop location for disaster recovery assistance, bringing together approximately 15 state and federal agencies and partner organizations. Residents and business owners will have an opportunity to meet directly with representatives, ask questions about their individual circumstances, and receive assistance navigating available disaster recovery programs and resources.
Representatives will be available to help individuals:
- Better understand the assistance for which they may be eligible
- Address questions about the recovery process
- Connect with appropriate state, federal, and partner resources

Delaware County residents and businesses impacted by the disaster are encouraged to visit the Disaster Recovery Center if they have questions, need assistance with the recovery process, or would like to speak directly with participating agencies and organizations.
No appointment is necessary. Residents may visit the Disaster Recovery Center during any of the listed hours of operation.
