Employee Spotlight: D’Artagnan Finderson

Meet D’Artagnan Finderson, an ECIRPD intern and senior at Ball State University majoring in Political Science and History. Originally from Auburn, Indiana, Dar hopes to build a career in local government, where he can help strengthen communities and improve the lives of Indiana residents.

Through his internship with ECIRPD, Dar is gaining hands-on experience with grant opportunities and learning how funding can help local governments better serve their communities. He has assisted with several grant opportunities, including funding through Walmart, Meijer, and the Ball Brothers Foundation. His work helps support efforts to secure resources for a variety of community needs throughout East Central Indiana.

Dar anticipates that this internship will help provide him with the knowledge and professional relationships needed to pursue his career goals and make a positive impact through public service.

Outside of his studies and internship, Dar enjoys reading, listening to audiobooks, playing video games, and watching sports.

We’re glad to have Dar on the ECIRPD team and look forward to seeing how this experience supports his future in public service!
