Relaunching the Jay County Mural Fundraising Campaign

The East Central Indiana Regional Planning District (ECIRPD) is pleased to continue its fundraising efforts for the Jay County Mural Project, an initiative to bring new life, color, and creativity to the heart of downtown Jay County.

Originally introduced last year, the project has already gained strong momentum, with $7,000 raised toward its $10,000 goal. With the fundraising deadline now extended, there is still an opportunity for community members and local businesses to contribute and help bring this vision to life.

The mural is planned for the Jay County Community Resource Center building along Meridian Street, a central and historic location that serves as a hub for local activity. Once completed, the artwork will not only enhance the visual appeal of the downtown area but also reflect the pride and heritage of the Jay County community. Beyond its aesthetic value, the mural represents a broader purpose. This serves as a symbol of collaboration and community investment, highlighting what can be achieved when residents and organizations come together with a shared vision.

With full funding, the mural is expected to be completed this fall. The project is intended to create a space that feels both welcoming and inspiring for residents and visitors. Every contribution plays a role in bringing this project to completion. Regardless of size, each donation helps move the community closer to transforming this space into a vibrant reflection of local spirit.

ECIRPD encourages individuals and businesses to support the campaign and help make the mural a reality. Those interested in contributing or learning more can contact:
