ECIRPD Attends 2025 IARC Annual Conference

On November 12th–13th, representatives from the ECI Regional Planning District attended the Indiana Association of Regional Councils (IARC) Annual Conference, held this year at the Terre Haute Casino Resort. This annual event brings together regional planning organizations from across Indiana to exchange knowledge, connect with partners, and explore strategies that support community and economic development.
Throughout the two-day meeting, attendees participated in sessions covering key issues such as funding for local governments, public art and creative placemaking, brownfield redevelopment, infrastructure, and legislative updates. Many conversations focused on navigating budget constraints while continuing to strengthen local economies. Our team valued the opportunity to learn from statewide experts and peers as we continue advancing initiatives that support the long-term vitality of East Central Indiana.
