ECIRPD Raises $15,000 Through Annual Back to School Golf Outing

On Friday, June 12th, 2026, community members from across East Central Indiana gathered at Albany Golf Club for the ECI Regional Planning District’s Annual Golf Outing: Back to School Fundraiser. Thanks to the generosity and support of everyone involved, this year’s event raised an incredible $15,000 to help provide back-to-school supplies for local students.

Each year, the outing brings together community leaders, businesses, partners, volunteers, and golfers for a day of friendly competition with a shared purpose: ensuring students throughout Delaware, Blackford, Grant, and Jay counties have the tools they need to start the school year prepared for success.

All proceeds from the fundraiser go directly toward purchasing essential school supplies for students across the region. From backpacks and notebooks to pencils, folders, and other classroom necessities, these resources help ease the financial burden on families while ensuring students can walk into the classroom ready to learn.

The ECI Regional Planning District extends its sincere gratitude to everyone who made this year’s outing possible.
