Help Close the Digital Gap in Jay County: Join the Broadband and Digital Opportunities Taskforce Public Meeting

In 2024, 36% of Jay County was considered underserved or unserved by Internet Service Providers (ISPs). That means over a third of our residents lacked access to reliable, high-speed internet—something that’s essential for education, healthcare, business, and daily life.

Since then, the East Central Indiana Regional Planning District (ECIRPD), in partnership with local leaders, has been working to close this digital divide. Through research, outreach, and planning, we’re making progress—but we can’t do it without community input.

We invite all Jay County residents, business owners, and local organizations to join the conversation and help shape solutions. Whether you’re experiencing slow service, limited access, or have ideas to improve digital tools in the area—your perspective matters.
