Introducing Jacob Thomas, a vibrant and driven Junior at Ball State University, who has recently embarked on an exciting journey as an intern at the ECI Regional Planning District. Jacob’s mission is clear – to contribute to the growth and prosperity of our local community through his work in economic development.
Jacob is from Delaware County and is a proud alumnus of Cowan High School, where he laid the foundation for his journey towards higher education and his passion for community development.
He is eager to engage with the representatives, organizations, and individuals who make up this dynamic area. Jacob’s enthusiasm to learn and connect with the community is palpable, and he is ready to take on the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
Jacob’s initial assignment was to work on the CEDS plan update, but he is currently focused on developing an economic resiliency plan. Additionally, he has produced Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, and PowerPoint presentations that outline the substantial benefits of ECIRPD.
We, at ECIRPD, are equally excited to welcome Jacob into our ECIRPD family. We can’t wait to see Jacob’s remarkable journey unfold.
